Sun Rays Foundation
A design showcase for the Sun Rays Foundation NGO — built to demonstrate my approach to impactful non-profit websites. Features modern design, Blog CMS, Custom Admin dashboard, Email notifications, CMS models and API endpoints for programs, locations, partners, milestones, and testimonials with admin CRUD operations and public views,accessibility-first principles, and engaging storytelling interfaces.

The Challenge
I wanted to build a showcase piece demonstrating how I'd approach a non-profit website — one that balances emotional storytelling with clear calls to action, accessibility, and modern design.
My Approach
Using React.js, Django REST API and TypeScript, I designed a template for Sun Rays Foundation NGO. The site prioritizes storytelling through program showcases, impact statistics, and volunteer/donor pathways — all built with accessibility-first principles and a warm visual language.
The Result
This design showcase led directly to the Sun Rays Foundation commissioning me to rebuild their actual website. It demonstrated that thoughtful design work can open real client doors.
